Ideas Wanted for our new City of Lancaster flyer - it will be A5 size and I am looking for perhaps a silhouette of a gymnast / trampolinist / something to symbolise Lancaster..?!? Get designing and let Claire know!
btw, if you don't mind A6 size instead of A5, we can get 5,000 flyers delivered for £39 (250 gsm, art paper print, glossy). This is probably the cheapest option available anywhere, and the quality is good. Let me know if you want the details.
forgot to mention, that service is all done online. You upload the finished flyer on their site and the consignment is delivered in 4-7 days.
You'll need to use proper software to design the flyer - e.g. a graphic or layout programme such as CorelDraw (for beginners), Freehand, Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark Xpress or InDesign. ** MS Word won't hack it! **
Most of the above software packages can be downloaded on a trial basis for 30 days, more than enough time to design a flyer ;)
oh yeah, they are full colour and double-sided flyers, so you'll need to design both sides.
If you want to use any of my photo images, let me know, although you should get permission from any gymnasts/their parents.
If you need my help designing the flyer using InDesign or Photoshop, just provide me with the full mock-up of what you want included - e.g. text and general layout on both sides (best to use a pen and paper rather than wasting time trying to produce something in Word). Or even better, I have designed a basic template for my own business flyers that I could show you. If it looks suitable, we could use it. You'd just need to provide the full info of what you want to slot into the various sections I've made.
